    They are both great methods. Depending on the tile you select, it will be more cost affecting to use tile. Say you pick a nice glass tile, it should be cheaper than your granite. Plus it will still keep family and friends talking about the amazing kitchen! Hope that helps you out!

    It depends entirely on what look you’re trying to get.
    Me, I’d put a full granite splash behind the stove (if the stove backs up to a wall) and run a granite curb or coordinating tile around the rest of the counter.

    …but that’s me.

    tile and granite on your tops will probally clash . A full granite splash would look better and be less maintenance than tile
