As far as I am concerned the best value in cabinetry is custom. While more expensive in the beginning, they will last forever (most cabinet makers I know, including my self, build to an heirloom standard), and you get exactly what you want, and custom units will use every inch of available space, because your not locked to the 12-15-18-24" and so on increments of store bought units Just my opinion . . . .
